Owise Abuzaid, 22, Applied Arts graduate. I started photography through my study in college 4 years ago. I can not really put a finger on my style yet, as I am following the have I experimental school with interests in minimalism and abstraction, and recently been trying to look at things from a new perspective, by discarding the form of the objects and giving more thought to the content. Generally, what appeals to me the most is composition. I am currently working as a freelance photographer and studying film - making. I have participated in few local photography competitions and exhibitions and in 2014, I have won 2 prizes by the CIB (Commercial International Bank) and the Ministry of Culture in a national competition for visual arts conducted by the Cairo Opera House and Egyptian Ministry of Culture called The Youth Salon in its 25th round.
