Hans Wilschut’s photographic series reflect on the contradictions of future urban metropolises in developing countries. Wilschut’s photographs are portraits of an urban landscape, portraying a vast city that converges with different architectures and building scales. His photographic projects focus on the urban city center, executed in diverse developing cities around the globe that are at the cusp of explosion. Recent solo and group exhibitions include System at Platform 57 (Den Haag, The Netherlands), Moments in Between at Galeria Dos Cases (Bogota, Colombia), and LagosPhoto 2013 (Lagos, Nigeria).
