Amber Croyle Ekong

Amber Croyle Ekong is a freelance curator and arts journalist born in the United States. With professional experience in international marketing and education administration and an academic background that encompasses politics, Spanish language and literature, apparel design, visual art, and cultural studies, Croyle Ekong’s vision is both eclectic and expansive. She has covered contemporary African art in New York for Nigerian publications such as This Day, The Guardian Nigeria, and Wings Magazine and recently launchedGO-SLOW: Diaries of Personal and Collective Stagnation in Lagos, an exhibition featuring over 40 images by ten Lagos based photographers. She lives between New York, Lagos, and Seattle.
